The downside of Piper's Christmas vacation:

1. Her parents are going to Paris without her.

2. Her best friend is moving to Virginia

3. She'll be staying with her grandparents in Piney Woods (the middle of nowhere!)

The upside of Christmas vacation:

1. Four grandparents in one place definitely has its advantages

2. There's a rodeo in store!

3. Sometimes adventures come to you!

Inspirations

This is my favorite Piper Reed book because it reminds me of visits to my grandparents. We never had a cousin rodeo, but visits to Forest Hill, Louisiana usually included cousins, horses, and fried chicken. And that all equaled fun.
